Reconstructing Revelation

I am working on reconstructing my plot. It is exciting and exhausting.

The more I write, the more my characters become pitted against each other in a complicated web of tantalizing relationships. The simultaneous existence of love and deception in these relationships has me fascinated.

Perhaps most exciting of all: a new character has emerged. His presence began to echo throughout the hallways of the story and I could see his fingerprint in the narrative so I pinned him down and questioned him. He had his own story to tell…one that intertwined into the story I already had. A story that, in a sense, had been the beginning of my story all along.

It’s scary to rewrite and reconstruct–but the characters demand it.
